Edit: We've picked a spot. Here are the details:

bar.vetro
222 East 58th between 2nd & 3rd

We'll meet up in the bar at 7:30pm and then migrate to a table for dinner at about 9pm.

We've tried this before, but let's try it again; anyone want to get together this Tuesday night, 7/22. There are certainly plenty of Styleforum New Yorker's around and the rest of the people that have come to town for the clothing trade shows. What do you guys think? Someone with better knowledge of the city want to pick a quiet-ish midtown-ish bar/restaurant that could handle a ten-ish person walk up? If someone can handle the venue side of things, I can handle harassing people to come side. What do you guys think?

I'm in!

Missed the SF meetup early last year due to a change in plans so would love to see some of the east coast igents.

Not sure about venues - what about that restaurant on the SE corner of 34th and 5th (empire state bldg) named something brewery?

It's Summer bro. You need to give at least a week+ notice at least.

better...perhaps not...but a commitment is a commitment, nonetheless.

That's just fine. I know this is super last minute. I've been meeting people individually all over town in between appointments and just thought it would be fun to get a group together. I'll be back the end of January/early February and I'll try to do a better job of setting something up then.

I'm still in. Can be in midtown from about 5.30 onwards on Tuesday so just say when and where!

Sounds good! Should have everything figured out by tonight. I'll let you know personally and post it here.

responding on behalf of voxsartoria, he is sorry but he will not be able to make it tonight.

As he's reputed to live in suburban Boston, this is somehow not surprising . . .
