Nudie Straight Sven. Non-selvedge. 33x34. 16.5" waist laid flat. One years, 2 washes. $70 I picked the stitching off the back pocket around 6 months ago. Studio D'Artisan DP-292 Black selvedge. Same fit as the 103. Measurements are in a billion places around the web. Has tab and arcuate. 33x35. Waist is about 16" after the one hot soak it got. $165 Compared to some new PBJ-003: Patch: With Nudies:

The answer is these are not overdyed, they're woven from black thread.

smith.jeremy AT gmail dot com and I'll send you a couple comparison pics I found of these versus overdyed and indigo.

If they don't fade, then I might be interested.

From what I understand, they're pretty tough to fade. The black dye just doesn't come off like indigo.

I mean to say, are they like pure black, or grey?
I just realized that a better question to ask is what the dye is made of. Is it ink-based or indigo-based?

They are pure black. While you can see the white threads, the black is definitively black.
I don't know what the dye is made of, I can't find the information anywhere.

Here's everything I know about it:
