I bought one in a size 50 which is my normal size and yes it is large fitting. I think I would of gotten away with a size 48. Fits larger than other Cabourn jackets. Will you let me know what the fit is like for you. They have a small left in the colourway I bought I might return it.

Can u comment on the material of the jacket. Is it thick? I know it's pretty much like a wax shell?

The fabric is fairly stiff and slightly rough to the touch. The material is medium weight and has no lining, it is not the lightest summer jacket I have come across . I think it will also be a dirt magnet as there is a slightly sticky feel to the fabric. Cleaning instruction are no dry cleaning or machine washing. Only clean with a damp sponge. Not sure how you would clean the beeswax cotton if you badly stained it.I think the feel and texture will greatly change with wear.

Yeah was hoping to use the jacket in the beginning of spring and possibly in the beginning of fall layering something underneath. Heard u gotta spot clean the jacket.

If anyone can fit in that Surface jacket, jump on it. I've seen it at OC and it's a fantastic jacket. So much nicer than the Aircraft

Great sale indeed. I received an Aircarft jacket from endclothing 2 days ago, so I hesitated buying more Cabourn stuff. I have already 3 jackets and 2 sweaters, do not know if I need something else. So tempting...I've spent the last half an hour at the site..
