Good news. You'll generally find sorting out returns with UK companies is pretty good as we have very strong consumer protection laws so they're used to it - we have none of the 'final sales no returns' business for example.

My knit waistcoat arrived yesterday and the fit is spot on.

And, I recommend you have the sleeves tailored longer than a typical suit jacket. It's nice to have the top part of your hand protected in wet weather. Be sure to post photos...

And just be yourself and use the emoticons

Yeah, mine can be worn with whatever I like but still doesn't feel bulky, it made it to the seasonal rotation and is now one of my favourite piece, certainly my fav heritage, if I may call it that. I'd like to complement it with a lighter fisherman or a tweed jacket at some point.

I've had a couple people ask about the chinos I received, so I thought I'd put some info up for a day or two. They are size 34W and measure:
Waist: 34"
Front rise: 11"
Inseam: 33"
Leg opening: 10"

They are made in Japan, with chainstitched felled inseam and outseam, with a nice corozo button fly. I'd consider keeping them, but they are actually a little short on me. I will be sending them back today or tomorrow, so let me know if any of you are interested. I'd just want to cover my costs, which would be $220 shipped.

The waistcoat looks great, MoK. They're easily some of my favorite pieces. Here's a nice little preview of FW from Selectism (can we not embed Vimeo vids?)

LN-CC styled last season's Cabourn stuff very strangely. The jacket is obviously a full size too small and I don't like the way they fastened the top button. I have a Mallory jacket and the sleeve length seems normal to me (I'm 5'10"). Thanks for the link, zissou. Great stuff.

Thinking of the navy houndstooth aircraft jacket from Context, or the solid green from UK...thoughts?
