I just got my made-to-order Gaziano & Girling shoes after 6 months of waiting. They are amazing, stunning, and beautiful! Much better than I anticipated! My problem is that they are on the border of being too small for me. They are a true 11E (same sizing as my Edward Greens, which are also a bit snug!) Anyway, I'm considering selling them and want to see if there is any interest on SF. If not, I'm happy to keep them!
Anyway I had them do their Hughes model, black leather, smart square last, all black sole, and a metal toe plate. The waist has a great fiddle to it with a really tight cut into the side (much better than the pictures I saw of their RTW models!). The heels are excellent as well, with a nice slope all around. I'm thinking $1,250 (would include shipping, mahogany shoe trees, box, sacks, polish). Honestly, I may not sell them even at this price, but if interested PM me and see if you catch me in the selling mood! Otherwise enjoy the pics!
PS. I do have an amazing pair of brown, wholecut, double hidden welt Brugnoli shoes (Italian company, but looks nearly identical to CJ Weymouth with no toe punching). Same story, Size 45 which is a bit snug, so I've only worn them 4 or 5 times in the past few years. They also have lasted shoe tree. Would sell for $400. I'll post them with pics if anyone is interested. (These really are a great deal, much better quality than mid range british shoes!)
