Anyone know if they do wingtip boots or a shortwing blucher?

That last isn't as nice as the Deco last G&G stingrays I have seen pictures of. I think stingray needs to be a little more fashion-forward last wise to match the exotic skin.

imo, it depends how much attention you wanna draw to your footwear. also, how you can you incorporate your style decisions into your personal lifestyle and social environment.

stingray is more noticeable itself, though.

A question for those of you that have bought a pair; how are Meermin in size compared to Loake and Carmina?

I am a 10 in Carmina Simpson, 10 in Meermin Olfe, and I tried on a 10 in New Rey as well

I tried on these in Simpson last size 6.5 and found the linea maestra cap toes in New Ray size 6.5 to be similar in fit. New ray curves down towards the toes faster than the Carminas.

The New Ray last is surprisingly narrow at the ball of foot and the toe is more pointy than in pictures. Size up ½ number. Wide feet fellows: don't bother.

Update regarding the stingray, to those who were surprised at the flat texture on my stingrays, this is part of a message from Tony at G&G:

well the skin that you have on these shoes is a shaved skin, stingray comes in 2 finishes, 1/ natural which is more bumps and consistent in colour ( as the picture attached) this is the kind we usually use.
2/ this is a shaven and polished skin, it is exactly the same, apart from this has the top surface sanded off, leaving a more two toned effect, kind of whit and black, making it look grey.

I'm pretty sure I will get the G&Gs...but now I am considering keeping the Meermins as well - the G&Gs will likely take quite a while to complete, and I don't want to be without stingrays after waiting for a while for these...also I like these more every time I look at them. The plasticky finish has kind of worn off a bit since they came out of the box, the brilliance of the skin really shows nicely in the right light. Decisions...
