I am not a good dresser, but I have become a better one after reading many of these threads. However, I always had trouble finding many of these threads when I needed to look up a reference, so I decided to gather the links for the threads that I have found most helpful in the past. If I am missing any threads that you may have found instructive or enjoyable, let me know and I'll add them to the post.

Thanks and enjoy.

All that lot will achieve is abject poverty: Pure nonsense, The base premise is far fetched, we live in the 21st century and times have moved on - ladies no longer wear crinolines, gentlemen no longer powder their hair. There is nothing to be gained by living in the past for the vast majority of us.

I warm more to Vox's benign aristocratic contempt than Manton's overman designs to toss us all out of the country until only Anderson & Sheppard-clad philosopher kings are left to discuss pocket squares together.

Totally understand if you don't care for their aesthetic. I find it useful, and many others do as well. If you don't like their style (or their personalities), it is probably best to ignore this thread.

For me, I enjoy reading their advice and would like to know if there are any other threads where they offer style advice.

I don't dress like either one of them, but it still proves useful for the elements of their style that I do adopt. Dress how you like, but there is always going to be a consensus on what works and what doesn't. Certain elements are time tested and lasted that is what these threads are about. Rather than make general statements about why you don't like the advice give specific examples.

I look forward to future Manton threads--presented in memoir style--about his time as Sean Spicer's personal in-house stylist and lessons to be learned from same.
