I'm not even sure she's rich anymore. She was broke for awhile. I remember hearing about her having to borrow 20k at a time from friends. I guess money is only a topless photoshoot or ****** film away though.

Lindsay clearly has some issues too. i hate to make judgements on people and obviously she's the most responsible for her actions, but she must have some pretty negligent friends and parents.

This seems to be the standard-issue Hollywood starlet playbook: meteoric rise to fame propelled largely (if not solely) by physical hotness; inability to act or perform to audience-worthy standards; followed by trainwreckish and highly publicized personal life in an attempt to remain noteworthy.

I'm not so sure about that. To this day, the roles for which she's most recognized are the Disney remakes she made in her early/mid teens, back before she got teh big bewbies. Certainly I would hope nobody would describe the Lindsay Lohan of "The Parent Trap" as "hot", but people who are discerning of such things could see even then that she was possessed of real acting chops, or at least that's what they told me. It speaks volumes about the direction of her career that you'll never hear anybody say, "Lindsay Lohan? Oh yeah, I loved her in [any movie other than 'The Parent Trap' or 'Freaky Friday']."

Actually, Britney Spears is doing just fine for herself recently.

You'll find being pragmatic and erring towards being compassionate to be alienating characteristics on the style forum.
