I have the same pair I think (black in 46, single pleat elasticized pants in a lightweight cotton chino fabric). The pockets should be there. The actual opening is sewn shut so stuff doesn't get tangled during shipping and display. This is true for most tailored clothes. Just double check the inside of the pants and if there is a pocket attached, then it is surely sewn shut.

Ah yeah, I had checked after I first noticed but I had assumed the pockets would be loose inside, not sewn down, so I missed them. Found 'em now.

Lemaire shirt and jogging pants

If I end up in Hawaii later this year I might be wearing this a lot. I sort of want to grab the short sleeve jacket now, too.

Be warned, if you are still considering the jogging pants it will make your hip look very wide!

@malcb33 I went TTS, so, these are a 48. Glad I did after being so indecisive. I want to make another observation, the pants appear slimmer than they look in the photo because I'm taking the picture from angle looking down. A straight on look would probably show the volume better.

BTW, I just dropped off your package this morning, Malcb!

anyone have experience with lemaire footwear?

recently got some derbies (ss15), construction seems questionable -- not sure whether to keep them for strictly in-house/garden wear or possible destruction via concrete

They seem a bit flimsy but I would get at least a top sole added. I wear mine very sparingly but to be honest they seem to have the perfect shape to fit Lemaire's aesthetic IMO. I'm still considering MOTO or MTM. Might even try bespoke and send Luxire my loafers and trace of my foot...

I will say the leather varies, and Lemaire actually includes a disclaimer of sorts saying that leather condition may vary giving it the nature of being one of a kind. (I tried picking up a second pair of loafers but the leather looked pretty distorted on one shoe.)

Like I said, nice shape IMO.

Is it a coat? I can't see the length. But if it is, it also resembles his shawl collared DB jackets of previous seasons because of the lone buttonhole on the left side, allowing you to wear the collar up over your neck.

Have any of you wondered what's beneath those white sheets? It's not couches. It's the models who posed for the Plokhov collab.

And, when the Lemaire models finish their shoot, they will lie down where they are, they will be covered with white sheets of their own, and the models from the next collab will pose on top of them.

And so on.

Those models look like they'd make incredibly uncomfortable furniture. That must be why the standing guy is the only one smiling.

Maybe a hybrid?

Didn't one of the early media releases mention something about Heattech coats?

Good read. Surprised he didn't follow up his criticism of Marc Jacob's last L.V show with something nice to say, as is common for anyone in fashion who is afraid to make any criticism at all. Then again, he's worked for Hermes, and Hermes doesn't exactly like Bernard Arnault.
