You had two problems- one was the simplicity of the outfit. The sweater is nice and fits you pretty well, but it doesn't have any of the interesting visual elements and lines provided by a jacket. You need spice, as it were. At least an interesting shirt popping out from underneath that collar rather than the crewnecks- the shirt ogretorix is wearing perhaps, or something else bold, would add visual interest to the outfit and help you out. The other, and perhaps greater problem, is the crappy photos. Holding a camera and shooting a mirror doesn't work well for getting a good shot of your entire outfit. And for a simple outfit to shine on fit, you need a good photo and a good setting. Simplicity, in itself, can make for an attractive outfit. But it doesn't come across well with photos like that.
