Hey guys, brand new to the forum. Had no idea there was a dedicated forum for John Elliott, happy there is one.

@JohnElliottCo Hey guys, I'm usually a waist 29-30 and ordered the all black escobars sometime around March but the stitching around the waistband holding the rope started to rip right as I was putting it on the first time. I ordered a small. For future purchases, should I have bought a medium instead?
Also, I'm really interested in the pitch black hooded villain. I'm 5'10 and weigh around 150-155. The only thing is, I have pretty broad shoulders. I have somewhat of an athletic build. It varies because there's months where I dedicate to fitness and then months where I just become lazy lol. There's so many questions on sizing here so it kind of confused me, regarding sizing up or sizing down. Thanks for the help!!

So I got a pair of the Cast Graphite from Roden Gray but noticed a flaw in the denim. It's as if the weft is pulled up in a vertical line about two inches long on the left upper thigh. Anyone else have a similar issue with the weft being pulled up? I like the fit and color overall btw, I've just never had any other denim with this issue (apc, somet, flathead).

It's against forum policy to post goods for sale outside of the marketplace - especially in an affiliate thread.

Will the new villain hoodie have bigger hood? I have to admit that my flash dual zip in the same size as two villain hoodies and one villain crew looks one size bigger. Is there any chance that it is mislabeled? Because Villains are slim fit, and dual zip flash is a little looser fit and have way bigger hood. But I really like the fit of this flash hoodie. So I just want to know if it's a chance to be mislabeled? Otherwise I will think about getting villain in size XL next time....

I'm 5'10" 155 and I have the black villain with the silver zippers in M.
My chest is 38.5" and it fits great.

I notice for the hoodies it's not some much the body, but the arms are just short

Yes agreed. I would love if the sleeves were longer for more stacking even for us tall guys

Also if anyone missed out on the midnight villain and wants my size medium(NWT only tried on once) PM me

My villain hoddies from the first run were perfect in the arms, but I've tried each iteration of the villain crewneck and the arms were all short on those. I just assumed it was due to the boatneck and then when it was recut with the reg neck the sleeves just didn't transfer well or something. I ordered the midnight villain last night though, so I hope the sleeves are more like my other hoodies. I thought the initial idea was for them to stack and fade like denim.

Just got back from DC and tried on my midnight collection. The escobars in size S fit perfect, I like them more than my xs. The mercer tee is nice as well, fits like the other tees. It's not as long so I prob could have gotten a M.

Not as long as which tee are you comparing to? Weird because if using the measurements on the size guide, the mercer is definitely longer than the classic crew but not as long as the curve u necks.

I have both and both in a size small. The front is definitely shorter than the other 2

Oh wow, gotcha! That's gonna be difficult then - forgot to take into account the way the mercer bottom is shaped. Think the medium is only .5 longer
