Hey guys,

I'm from Aus, with no J-Crew.

I was wondering if someone would be nice enough to act as a proxy?

I don't mind paying them. I'm pretty much after some oxford, slim fit button downs and some of shawl collar stuff they have.

Thanks for the help!

I've noticed this also.

Funny, I noticed this as well. I always check out the inside tags to see what season the piece is from. Just this week, trying on some things, I saw pieces from '06, 07, and 08 on the floor selling for full price. Buyer beware!

Well, it is embarrassing, but at the same time I've developed nice relationships with the clerks.

I have this terrible habit of never buying everything I want at one time. I keep going back because I keep thinking about that one thing I should have picked up but didn't.

I also have a proximity infatuation. This is the first time I've lived/worked anywhere very close to a store (few minutes drive from work and the apartment). I imagine after another couple months the novelty will wear off.

This is annoying at times, since their cut has been getting slimmer. After already owning an oxford that fit me fine, I bought one without trying it on at some point last year but it was from a previous season. I kept it, but should have tried to return it even after I took the tags off.

I'm a medium in the tailored-fit button-down, but a large in their t-shirt, does anyone know what I'd be in their tailored-fit polo?

I'm a small in their button downs/thermals/long sleeve Ts. But a medium for short sleeve Ts and polos. I have a Vintage tailored fit and a repp-pique tailored, both medium, both fit very nicely. So I'd say you should go for a large.

What's the quality of their dress shirts like? I don't have a plain white dress shirt (odd, I know), but I know I wouldn't wear it too often. Am I ok cheaping out with something like this for $55? Or am I better off spending more, even though it won't get a lot of wear?
