Please take a look at this pic of me wearing a Lands end canvas washed oxford. Left pic if with sleeves rolled up, and right pic is with sleeves unbuttoned. I don't know if it is too big for me. It is a size medium and I'm 5'8. I usually keep my shirts untucked. Is this too big? and if so will the shirt shrink when I wash it? Please let me know!

Yes, the shirt is too big on you. Not sure how much your posture has to play in what is being displayed tho.

As far as shrinking, it might shrink a little, but it's not going to help those sleeves and the fact the shirt shoulders are falling off you.

Can we get a close up pic of the shoulders? Looks like the seam is sagging off the shoulder.

the shirt looks baggy around the shoulders and the chest area. would need to see closer pictures to have a better sense of whether or not it doesn't fit well in those areas. the sleeves look too long, but if you roll them up, no one will notice.

Considering you are gonna use it for casual wear, I don't think its drastically too big other than the sleeves. Give it a wash and take a picture with good/natural posture and then re-post.

As for the sleeves, you might want to take it to a tailor and pay the $15 to get it the right length - but wash it first.

The sleeves do look too long, and the shirt seems a bit too large in the shoulders, but that's at least partly because of your posture (though probably not entirely, either).

You should take some pictures in a natural posture so we can judge--if you don't want people to see your face, just crop it. The current shots make it hard to judge fit.

The shirt looks a bit baggy all around--the shirt shouldn't shrink much, if at all, so it might be worth it to get a size down to see how the smaller size fits on you.

It would have also helped if you held your head up in the photo and just crop off the face if you wish to remain anonymous.
This way we can see better the neck fit. The shirt appears to be at least 2 sizes too big for you.
I would hazard a guess that the shirt you have on is a 17" - 171/2" neck and what you would need is a 15" - 15 1/2" neck,
but this is just a guess..please confirm the shirt size.

Stand up straight...

Even then it won't be a good fit, but at least stand up straight to make it look decent. If its a Size Medium I would go with either a slim-fitted medium (if available try it) or a small. I'm 5 ft 9 in anda bit slim, and I tend to go with size 15 shirts and Small Slim Fitting/ Custom Fit shirts.

If you like the shirt and a slim fit is not a option, an alterations tailor should be able to slim it down for you. I have had success with my alterations tailor doing so.
