Interview Dilemma

Thanks for taking my call, love the forum gents. I’ve learned quite a bit over the last few weeks, since I’m new to menswear basics. Here’s my dilemma:

I live in Tyler Texas and I’ve got a mid-level job interview next Friday (out of town). My suits are outdated and there’s slim pickings regarding men’s clothing stores here, so I took a trip to a Dallas (Allen) outlet mall last weekend thinking I could visit Polo Ralph Lauren, Neiman Marcus Last Call, Johnston Murphy and finish with Brooks Brother Outlet Store. For the 5 hr round trip, I got nada but wasted time. NO decent suits, or other clothing, to be found and I couldn’t get to a real BB store in time. Monday, after talking to (2) BB associates (Dallas and Plano), I found out about the F&F deal starting Wednesday and planned another drive back to Dallas this week to get (1) navy and (1) gray 1818 Fitzgerald, 3/$225 shirts, socks, a few ties, etc, at 25% off. I thought I had my attire issue resolved, but then came Tuesday, both associates have now informed me that their tailors are too backed up to have my suits ready for next Friday. They said I could buy the suits and have them altered at one of their recommended tailors.

There is a men’s store here (Harleys) that carry the following brands: Luigi Bianchi, Jack Victor, Empire, Southwick, John Cooper, Coppley, RNG, and Corneliani. I didn’t know they carried suits, so I guess I’ll go check them out tomorrow. Has anyone heard anything about them? I doubt they will have anything on sale, but are there any particular lines within the listed brands that I should be looking for at a price near the Fitzgerald? Would you guys drive 2 hrs away (twice if I need to try on the suit after alterations) for BB 1818 suits?

Thanks for the input.

I asked around and looked online, but haven't found anyone that was very impressive. I could do some more last minute digging though. Thanks Vinny.
