I'm trying to find a pair of casual white sneakers that I can wear with jeans. Need some recommendations. I have some criteria. First, I'm on a college budget. I want something that's fairly comfortable (my feet are on the flat side) and something that is breathable.

That's pretty much it.

White chucks, purcells, vans (slip-on or skate), spring court, stan smiths (least breathable). I am sure I left out all the other staples ... but those are 6 basic ones.

Le Coq Sportif have some good designs. They have some perforated leather models and I have a pair that are suede and some kind of woven fabric that are super breathable.

Plus, if the white chucks or purcells (or even stan smith vintage blue tab only) aren't great on your feet, then buy some insoles. My dad has incredibly flat feet and buys nice insoles for pretty much every shoe. I have pretty flat feet as well, but it doesn't really bother me that much unless i'm on my feet for multiple hours at a time without sitting. If i'm wearing them to class and such, it's not a big deal to have an hour on my feet, and then some time sitting in class.

chucks are pretty uncomfortable and you should size down 1.

Rbk all whites are nice... so are AF1's though I prefer the Rbks as I have super wide feet.

Uhhh... No.

The purpose of coming to a style forum is that he wants them to look good.

I used to find Converses unbearable, but my high tops aren't bad and I wear them at least once or twice per week. I have the same ones Joel_Cairo linked to and I like them. I'll probably wear them tomorrow for casual Friday.

Super feet insoles.

http://www.superfeet.com/

Great stuff, so many different models. Orange for casual kicks, black I believe is for flat feet. I wear both orange and Green (more shock absorption). Just check out the site man, theres a crazy lot of info.

And flat feet is not always a problem, sometimes it runs in the family. However the worst foot problems usually are related to flat feet.

Enjoy!

I like Saucony Jazz's.

I also have a pair of Pony's that I like a lot.

Depends on whether I am looking for more athletic sneakers (Saucony) or casual (Pony) to decide on which to wear.
