I can attest to the ease of using zappos to price match. Assuming the exact shoe is in stock you can phone them immediately after placing your order and they will credit your card immediately. Not only did they credit 110% of the price difference but they included the negative shipping (endless) when doing the calculation...all with a pleasant attitude.

Anyone know how their loafers run? I was going to order the Irvine but saw that someone on another AE loafer said that they ran big...so I'm not sure.

I've only tried on loafers made on the hand sewn lasts, which I have to go up half a size on.

Do they do any sort of check for your size?

I mean if Amazon only has size 7 & 8, will zappos match the price for my size 10.5?

thanks

No. Everything has to be identical.

Just a note on Amazon's shipping. I ordered some driving loafers yesterday, and since I have Prime I get free 2nd-day shipping. They left the warehouse in Louisville shortly before 5 with an estimated delivery on Friday.

They went out for delivery at 7:30 this morning in Omaha.
