How long should jeans be?

I've got the waist and fit down pat, but I'm not sure what is considered stylish as far as length. Should they come to the bottoms of your shoes and no more? Should they be a little crumpled up at the bottom? Help me out here guys. I know it's probably just personal preference, but I want some input.

I go with a 70" inseam and stack to the thigh. It's a ***** because you have to use 2 rolls of fabric to keep the selvage line all the way.

40" is pretty ****** to be honest. Maybe in 2001 40" was cool, but now adays you really need AT LEAST 55".

It's so worth it though. Most of my jeans are at minimum 60". Here is my newest pair coming in around 70". The stacking is amazing.

They were actually originally listed on ebay. IIRC they sold for like $30 or something -- they might not of even sold. They were apparently made for people on stilts. They are real Levi's from the 70's. And you're right, I don't actually own them.
