Here is what I've been doing for about a year now, with painfully slow progress:
^^ Well I'd like to know what his goals are first. Seems like his calorie intake is right at, if not below maintainance. With an underworked metabolism, it's entirely possible to not lose weight at this rate. If he wants to lose fat while minimizing muscle loss, continuous aerobic exercises (read: cardio or certain sports) for >= 30 minutes at least 3 times a week + some weightlifting are the minimum.
Can you explain your workout and supplement schedule? The reason I ask is I am getting conflicting information. For example, some people say take creatine 5 hours before a workout (so it can absorb) then immediately after. Others say only take it 1 hour before, none after. And finally, others say take half 1 hour before and half after. I've also read about two scoops with a shaker full of water of protein whereas my product says 1 scoop (3 tsp) for 6-8 oz (about 1/3 of my shaker capacity). Some people say you shouldn't mix creatine with citrus (ie orange juice) because the acid kills the active ingredient. Then they say you can mix it with grape juice ... which is acidic too, right?
I mix creatine with orange juice. It works fine. I drink orange juice with one scoop of Cellmass and one scoop of NOXplode in the morning, and the same 30 minutes prior to each workout, and have a water bottle with one scoop of each mixed with water that I drink during the workout. On non-lifting days, I just drink the orange juice with one scoop of each in the morning.
Sorry, I am new to this so help me out with using supplement names instead of name brands. So you take 1 scoop of creatine (Cellmass) and one scoop of Nitric Acide (NoXplode) with OJ in the morning. Another combo before workout, another one during the workout.
wow, that's awesome razuel. congrats! if you keep this up, i wouldn't be surprised if you add a good 5 years to your life.
