Hey community, As I reflect on the events of today and my commitment to staying active, I'm intrigued to learn more about the specific number of extra calories I might have burned. Whether it was a high-intensity workout at the gym, a rejuvenating yoga session, or simply opting for the stairs instead of the elevator, every bit of effort contributes to a healthier lifestyle.

I'm eager to hear about your experiences and insights into calorie tracking. Do you use fitness trackers, mobile apps, or have a unique method to estimate your energy expenditure? Let's share tips and motivate each other on this fitness journey. After all, understanding the calories burned not only quantifies our efforts but also fuels our determination to maintain a balanced and healthy lifestyle. Join the conversation and let's inspire one another! 🏃‍♀️💪🍏

When I'm 'on' I simply count calories. I use labels and a food scale. I figure I'm about 80% accurate--in both directions. I log them in a notebook by meal/day. I eat a variety of the same foods quite a bit so it gets to be like second nature.

If anyone has any tips for accurate calories burned by activity/age/weight/sex I'm all ears.
