One small point, but I think that tie knot is a little small for that style of cut away collar. I say that meaning it shows too much of tie material either side of the knot before its covered by the collar, if that makes sense...I would try a full Windsor knot as they tend to very triangular and should fill the collar better...Other than that, I would try a shirt with a spread or semi spread collar...

I don't think the suggestion of a full windsor is going to go down very well here...

To be honest, its not my favourite knot, but too me the collar looks a little "empty" so I put it out there as a suggestion given its something relatively easy to try....

Well I wouldn’t try it because it’s a god awful looking knot. Don’t necessarily disagree about the spread vs the FIH but I don’t think an ugly knot would solve it.

Thanks for the advice. I really dislike the full Windsor knot. I don’t mind the half Windsor. This is a double four-in-hand knot. I pulled it a bit tight which reduced the knot size. In general though, I like full spread collars and DFIH knots. I realize it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.
