Don't let the door hit you ********** on the way out, and, for the record, I've been sucking dick for decades - if you wish to effectively impugn my masculinity, you'll have to do a better job of it.

Excuse me for being a bit late to the party, but this post just had to be quoted in full for true greatness. Well played, Crusty, this is probably one of the best replies I've read on SF in a long time. Maybe ever.

Oh, and by the way, 40 thumbs and counting!

Those Corthay are to die for, as is the Omega!

It is an excellent example of owning one's sexuality. And fortunately all the involved parties in that little altercation haveshaken hands or at least ceased hostilities.

Usually, I don't like blue ties with blue jackets; this is about as good as one can do this combo, but I still think a brown, burgundy, green... tie would have been better.

Agree about brown and green, disagree about burgundy.

But a question I want to ask folks in general: do you guys dress with optimality as your primary goal?

I'm not sure I do. I'm a huge fan of brown tie with blue anything--it's thr world's greatest color combination imo. But I often know that one item or another would be better than what I have currently selected, but if I want to wear that selected item or that particular combination, provided it looks good, I don't let the better option deter me. Is this a deficiency in my dressing philosophy?

As much as I am pleased that the quote was so well received,I would like to be remembered for my other postings as well, and equally, I am happy that the altercation has ceased.

Personally I don't see that as a deficiency. Why, if you'd follow the 'always go for optimum' philosophy in extremis, you would wear the same fit each and very day....

I do not. I will say some days I want to look my very best, then I try to be very optimal. However, generally I value variety more than I value optimality.

One takes a break for a while and a whole **** storm hits, and I don't mean just on SF. I returned from vacation to find this...

On my new standard for storm damage assessment, this is a two formosa, which is frankly ridiculous for cutting down a tree.

In other news, I'm wearing this today
