"My yellow in this case is not so mellow." Bonus points to whomever knows what song that comes from.

Thanks gents for all the kind words. This is the first Havana-fit garment I've purchased from SuSu. Previously didn't fancy the high buttoning point. For a 3pc, this doesn't matter (and in any case I've heard that it's been lowered for this season - not sure whether my own suit has the higher or lower buttoning point).

Anyway I hover between a 50 and a 52 (EU) in most OTR brands. This suit is a 52 which appears to be ample. The jacket has had zero alteration of any kind, although at some point I might get the sleeves shortened by 1cm or so.

Oddly enough, the waistcoat was a 50 - someone had apparently done a sneaky little waistcoat swap-out at some previous point. SuitSupply graciously agreed to let out the waistcoat free of charge - they found another 2cm for me and it's perfect now. In fact I suspect it may fit me better than a 52 would have. I tried on a 54 waistcoat and was swimming in it.

Looks like you've found a great OTR fit for yourself!

Welcome!

A few comments:
- Jacket looks definitely way too short.
- Shirt collar points are very small.

This is more a personal preference, to my taste the leg opening is very slim.

Color combo is nice.

Apropos a conversation of striped shirts. And another, private, on my dislike of wearing gray suits (though I have no problem with them on others)

Gerry: Great fit. Love that you went northern hemisphere winter fit during southern hemisphere summer. That's commitment, boys. -- My Thursday.

GMMcL and Stitch were talking about donegal on donegal fits. This isn't quite that, but rather donegal plus herringbone tweed.
