The weather in NYC today is actually spring-like, with a mix of clouds and sun, and comfortable temperatures, with the added excitement of a partial eclipse. This evening, my husband and I are going to the Metropolitan Opera yet again, and between the weather and the occasion, it encouraged me to dress up in attire more spring-like than has been possible up until this week here in NYC.

It's also given me license to wear my newest acquisition, today's tie, combining it with one of my oldest shirts, some two decades old, I think.

Suit - Paul Stuart/Phineas Cole
Shirt - Lewin
Tie - Paul Stuart
Cufflinks - Deakin & Francis via Penhaligon's
Pocket square - no name brand
Shoes - Carmina

Yesterday’s outfit. What can I work on? Already had a few tips from others. I could use more
Looking good bro…

I have two suggestions. Both of them originate from my own personal preferences, however. So, take them with a grain of salt.

1.) Wider legged trousers with wider leg openings would greatly improve this look and your swag in general.

2.) I would wear a darker pair of shoes with this fit. I would have reached for a pair that are closer to the color of the trousers.

Keep it up. 👍

I appreciate the feedback man I’m looking to gain any knowledge to add to my new train of thought when it comes to classic menswear

The color combination is quite good.

In addition to the feedback from @LJ1891, I would focus on the tie knot. You can probably find a video on YouTube that can illustrate how to do it.

This is what most my jackets look like upon retrieval. This is a cotton blend so maybe it looks a bit worse.
