Very nice collar on the shirt
Thanks. Maybe 9 or 10 year old BB pinpoint oxford, must iron, made in Malaysia. I have a squad of them: blue, yellow, pink, and white. The cuff on the blue one frayed badly. The others are holding up well.

Standing like a Royal in the middle of L’avenue des Chumps-Élysées after lunch today.

Brooks Brothers camel hair jacket, L L Bean blue OCBD shirt, Lands' End tie, Squarextraordinaire pocket square, Orvis trousers, and Allen-Edmonds suede shoes.

While on the subject of lunch today, one of the many advantages of wearing a bow tie is you don't have to worry about getting your soup on your tie.

Thanks. I love a good lapel roll. Steamed it myself this morning.
Next time steam it higher so you don’t have the button hole buggering up the lower lapel! 😁

If the roll hits on or around the top button it looks fine. If the button and button hole are lost behind the fold then their addition is pointless and they might as well have been omitted (See Daniel Craig in many of his recent Tom Ford Bond suits). But if the roll (press) is so low the top button hole is seen on the folded back lapel - I’m out!

Seriously I’ve lost count of the amount of jackets I see on SF that have the potential to look stellar but the look is completely ruined by this abomination. It’s something I don’t recall ever seeing IRL but has completely taken over SF and it’s on display on a daily basis. The attraction leaves me completely baffled. I realise I’m in the minority on this quixotic rant but this rage has been boiling up inside me these last weeks and I had to vent I’m mad as hell and I just can’t take it anymore! 😁😁
