If memory serves, JapanAlex01 stopped posting fits after they were consistently held to his high standards and found lacking.

Didn't Spectre come out of nowhere and start critiquing people left and right (sometimes maliciously) and when people questioned his authority, he put up?

...then he disappeared.

A more discrete boutonnier today, with a grey 3-p suit and tie from the 1950´s. And yes I know, the waist coat is too short.

Spectre, from his post count, was active at sometime prior to his last incarnation (or may be active in threads which we in this thread do not read), but he did make his presence very known in his last incarnation (earning me a day or two in the timeout chair, but also garnering me my second most thumbed posting in retort to one of his pronouncements). He did post photos, but I believe that the general populace did not find his brand of understated elegance very elegant (very understated, yes; very elegant, maybe not so much) - he ceased posting shortly thereafter.

He has been posting all week in Archi's wardrobe building thread.

He actually posted pictures after some called him out, so kudos to him for at least doing that.

Crusty, does that brand have a military history?

I wonder if the cuffs can be unbuttoned and turned back there.

That's pretty awesome, Clags. I wear wool ties with chambray shirts and linen/silk ties with flannel suits....big friggin deal. I have never said to myself, "my neck is so hot from this wool tie!".

Posting pics is not a prerequisite for having a valid critique. I would suggest, however, that it's probably better not to be a dick about it.
