Now $230 shipped The AE store was having a short sale of odd sizes so I bought this pair of Mora double-monks for $250 (down from $305) because it was such a beautiful shoe that I instantly fell in love with it. It was a little tight since I wear 12.5 but I thought, what the heck. When I got home, I realised perhaps I can't wear them after all. I called the store and they'll refund the shoes but since the Mora has been (foolishly) discontinued (the store manager said he'd heard it would be relaunched next season but as a $400 shoe!), I thought perhaps some Sfer should get first dibs. So before I return these, I thought I'd see if anyone here wants these hard to find beauties. The colour is "Brown burnished calf", which is the nicest colour of any AE shoe, and will be the most versatile pair in your wardrobe, going well with everything from suits to jeans. I have posted some stock pictures but it looks even richer in real. I'll settle for what I paid - $250 -- but throw in shipping because it will save me a trip to the city for my refund! The shoes are NIB, unworn, come with original box, shoe bags and a little brochure from AE describing the model's "history"! These shoes are not seconds or blemished in any way.

What would be a really nice project -- and if I make a confession, that's really why I bought them -- is to provide the two-tone mirror finish that shoe gave to his Lobb double-monks, a very similar shoe, pictured below:

those pictures are not really close to the true color

Zappos has a much better rendition of the color which is much darker and extremely nice

Damn you - my size and the shoes I want, but I don't have $250 to spend on a pair of shoes right now

Moras are great shoes, they are my favorite AE period. Way more desirable than Park Aves

E dragon suggesting it is "better" I exchange the shoes for another model (and pay 100 more since there is no sale) since sale items are "not technically refundable".... So, I'm cutting the price on the Moras to $230 shipped

This is a steal!
