FRIDAY CHALLENGE 25/10/13 - EMULATE YOUR SARTORIAL HERO

This week's challenge is pretty simple. Pick one of your sartorial heroes, choose of of his (or her, that would be fun actually) fits and try and emulate it best you can. Post a photo of your fit and also a photo of the fit you are emulating. I am going to give you all a lot of leeway here. It doesn't have to be a exact copy, "inspired by"-fits are also welcome. However, two photos - one of you and of the fit you are "emulating", "inspired by" etc etc ARE REQUIRED. I'll leave it up to the voters to judge who ever succeeds best. I will allow fits from all of this week and the poll will go up Sat Oct 26, 8 PM GMT, which is also the deadline to enter the challenge. A great example that actually inspired me the challenge, by our own TTO:

So here's my entry. Since I have been suspected of anonymously being Patrick Grant on at a least two occasions in the WAYWRN thread, it was a slam-dunk as to who I would emulate. Too bad my grey suit is three-button and not two....

Nobody from real life matches what's in my wardrobe, but I love the clothes Edward Fox wears in The Day of the Jackal.

Subscribed. I'm tempted to do the Cary Grant in a tuxedo with loafers look, walk outside to get a coffee, and then change into proper tuxedo shoes on Friday. That or some lovely grey suit, white shirt grey tie monochrome look.
