The challenge for this Friday is to incorporate something odd into your classic menswear outfit. But it can't just be odd. Anyone can stuff a fish into their breast pocket. It needs to be subtly odd, something that many on the street might not notice as unusual, but those of us on the forum might lift an eyebrow at and say "huh."

I'm not providing any pictures (though I'll be posting my own entry shortly) because it's up to the entrants to try and determine what "subtly odd" means to them and to anticipate what it means to potential voters.

Basic rules:

* I'll put up the poll Sunday evening, barring major airline disasters
* Outfit should be from last or this week (since there was no FC last week)
* Needs to be classic menswear
* If you include a brief explanation of why you think your outfit is subtly odd, I'll make an effort to include it with your entry.
Contestants had to post an outfit which was subtly odd in some respect. Here are the entries:

Claghorn - Very low contrast between tie and jacket in browns (done sometimes in blues, but very rarely in other colors)
LL

Bienluienapris- the texture interplay of the square and tie
LL

SYCSYC- the vibrant square against a sedate palette
LL

Mr. Knightly - Doubling up on paisley
LL

Subtle oddity: very low contrast between a jacket and tie in browns.

If so, you'd be the first to describe Post-Imperial as subtle.

I'd like you gentlemen to remember that I already shown in previous challenges the extraordinary:
- panty as a PS
- folded tie as a PS

You won't do any worse :)

I learned a lot, here, these last couple of years.

As for the challenge: my oddity this time is "wearing a slightly too colorful and shiny pocket square for such a classical outfit".

Looks like my style became much more normal!
