Thanks for all the votes last challenge. I have not been a active regular on CM, but I do browse time to time and I wear casual menswear quite a bit.

I had a look back through all the challenges put forward this year and felt that monochrome might be something fun to explore for regular participants.

While strict monochrome, e.g. every piece is some shade of blue, would be fun to see it is probably a bit "loud" for an entire outfit and may be difficult to assemble for many of us. So I think that having one colour and its shades plus black and white is going to provide more flexibility. I've attached a few inspiration photos of what I would say were well executed examples. I'm keen to see what we can come up with. I think this will make for minimal outfits in general but since casual menswear is allowed and it's getting colder I think having the addition of layers such as knits and coats could allow for a lot of variety.

I will let this run until November 12. That's about 2 weeks. I figure it's cooling down and people will want to try a few other challenges this winter.

Rules
> One classic/suit or casual menswear look
> Strict monochrome (all one colour of varying shades) OR One colour and its shades + white and black.
> Full outfit or Portrait photograph
> Submit by 12th of November US Time
> Multiple entries allowed, 1 photo per entry/look.

Awesome theme! Quick clarification - is footwear included in the strict monochrome? Have a feeling it may be hard to monochrome anything in footwear other than black or shades of brown. Wondering how to make indigo work, but I can use black if necessary.

I'm not running the challenge, but many of the examples posted have shoes different than the outfit.
