It's unusual in the sense of being allowable by sb's criteria for the challenge however, and is certainly a clever choice within its parameters, as it's a bit more versatile than some of the colours the rest of us wore!

FTR, RDiaz was the rulemaker here. I just chimed in to keep us on track with the stated guidelines.

I was indeed expecting to see some more red and also lavender/mauve, which were explicitly permitted. Those were the most versatile allowed colors

As for suggestions for the next challenge, I'm afraid I have none to give... kinda uninspired.
