The two third and fourth from the right look barely distinguishable in pattern - are they radically different in style or is it something only you and a discerning SF member could tell apart? I was wondering if having two POW suits was de trop but you've certainly answered that question!

The fabric is indeed pretty similar, It is the deco stripe -the windowpane overpaid- that is different. One is purple and the other blue. The farthest right garment is a sport coat. My view on duplication in the wardrobe is a little outside the norm. I have two white suits: one is double breasted and silk the other is linen and single breasted. That is different enough for me.

I'm wearing linen on Friday. You heard it here first. It'll climb above freezing during the day and is sunny.

in other news, the above is this weeks challenge!!!!

requirements:

blue tie (can be navy or light blue, but navy is more challenging. i give 2 votes extra credit for anyone wearing a navy tie)

Why boring shirt? No ginghams or oddities? Any colour restrictions on the shirt? Should I assume conservative means white, blue or micro stripe?

I will also be wearing linen. Because it's always warm. And because my other new navy suit isn't finished yet. Nor is my new navy blazer. And because I have special awesomes in mind. I am in. Very much in. And I will wear it tomorrow. And I will be expecting votes. Which, frankly, is a first for me in a Friday Challenge. Here we go...

So, navy linen for the contest then?

It would have been more illustrative to show the two suits side by side, I'll grant you, but I just didn't have a picture of the linen suit handy.
