Cool tab collars. As Billy Joel would say "welcome back to the age of jive"

The latest GT order with a bonus Sam Hober tie.

The tie is an unlined silk Columbia tie from the collegiate collection that David made to my specifications. It's at least equal to if not better than any of the ties I own, some of which cost me twice as much. I'm delighted with it.

The shirts were on order when I went for the fitting of my latest suit two weeks ago. During the fitting, my cutter decided that my right sleeve needed to be shortened by 7 millimeters, so I asked to have the sleeves adjusted accordingly. When I went to pick them up today, I took the other shirts they have made for me to have the adjustment made. I also ordered two more shirts.

Nice, great shade of blue. Did you request the contrast stitching? What changes did you make on the next two orders?

Same pattern revised for the sleeve length adjustment. Striped fabrics, grey MOP buttons, no contrast stitching.

Looks nice.

Yes, unlined three-fold. I couldn't be happier with it. David even sent it with a hand-written note thanking me for my custom.

Nice Hobr tie - Columbia?

You're welcome to your opinion, but I disagree. In real life these shirts don't look the least bit cheap. Also, half of whether it works or not is in the wearing.

Yes, the tie is the Columbia tie. David solicited ideas for the collegiate series, so I had some input in the design.

I please myself and it never occurs to me to worry that one or another stylistic element may be reminiscent of some so-called designer.

That's cool. Never thought to try an unlined 3-fold though I just ordered an unlined 6 or 7 fold (I honestly don't know which is which) after getting some killer 3-folds with a really thick lining.

David is definitely one of the greats when it comes to customer service.

When it comes to contrast stitching, I really think you have to go whole hog. I've considered it but would feel like I'd have to have all the stitching done in the other color, not just buttonholes. I have yet to actually do that though and probably won't for a while.

Bagariny. Awesome squared mop buttons with crow's feet stitching, nice and high medium spread collar too.
