Apologies if this is the wrong way to post this, unsure of how to post otherwise. I was wondering if anyone could help me find out if this Isaia is a fake or not. Picked it up at a thrift store in a decently wealthy area, but unsure of what to look for.

Hey SF! Went to purchase these Loro Piana engadin cardigans but have suspicions they might be fake (tag wrong color, stitching differences) any help would be appreciated! I have also included pictures of the real ones from Loro pianas website. Thanks in advance

Hello, bought these pants in a thrift shop. Any thoughts on if they are real or not?

Bought five E. Marinella ties (in a bunch) off Ebay and I suspect two of them are not actually E Marinella. Here's why:

1. Labels. The two ties on the right have a different type of label, which I have never seen before. In fact they don't even have the E.
2. Other label. The one with red stripes has a label that says "Made in England". Have E. Marinella ever produced anything in England?
3. Fabric. The two suspect ties lack the matte look and feel that the other three have.
4. Lining. The two suspect ties are not lined with the main fabric. They also are not lined all the way.
5. Loops. The loops on the back are poorly cut and sewn in comparison.
6. Construction. One of the ties is entirely stitched close at the back.

Altogether I am not even sure these qualify as fake, as much as just a different brand with a very similar name. I would very much appreciate your thoughts on this.

I believe those Marinella labels can be found on their older ties. I attached a picture of their labels throughout the years that I found a while back. I'm not qualified enough to answer the remaining questions, but I suspect they're just older.

Thanks. I asked the seller and they said the same. (They also offered to send two new Marinella ties, no strings attached. Exceptional service.)

For sure legit, some just vary in years made.

Do this look like authentic Oxxford? It does to me but... what's throwing me off a bit is the lining. Seems a tad flashy for Oxxford. I've got some "highest quality" items from them and the lining is very subdued. I doubt there's a strong market for pre-owned knock-off Oxxford sports coats, however.

Looks like it was a custom order? If so the client probably picked the lining. I agree that there probably isn’t any market for knockoff Oxxford clothing. Finally if/once you have the jacket in your possession it should be very easy to tell based on construction whether it is genuine or not.
