REAL OR FAKE? Ermenegildo Zegna Leather Coat/Jacket

Hey there, newbie here, I’m in the market for a leather jacket or coat and have found this Zegna posted on Grailed, currently listed at $320 USD.

Can anybody advise if you think it’s real or fake? I’m unsure if there even are any fake Zegna leather coats going around, the leather and quality looks quite good from the photos. The only thing throwing me off is the label: the stitching around the label is quite sloppy and label seems to be crossed out by sharpie.
I’ve had a look at one thread that covers different types of Zegna labels but I couldn’t find anything on messy stitching.

I’ve seen some messy stitching on Zegna labels, assuming it’s stitched by hand, but nothing quite as messy as this... Also I know there are many pieces that have asymmetrical sections and what not.

what do you guys think? is this common or should I stay away?

The label is marked up suggesting the coat was either returned and not suitable for resale or otherwise something defective. It’s probably real as a counterfeiter wouldn’t want to create doubt by using a label like that.

Thanks for your input. That sounds like something I should have already known! I’ll see if the seller knows why it has been marked up.
