Every issue of Esquire's BBB has a "Best Of" section in which they list the "best" barber, cobbler, etc. in various cities.

Seems to me that some of the selections are so off base it would be like Gourmet Magazine identifying Denny's as the best steakhouse in any major US city.

Do any SFers have any idea how the list is compiled (selection criteria, etc.)?

Granted the Spring BBB was kind of a letdown, but does anyone know the release date for the Fall 2011 BBB?
