UNFINISHED HORSEHIDE TRAINERS SUMMER 2018 PROJECT

It's back! Our most popular footwear project has returned with two all-new styles: the Hermosa High and Hermosa Low. Over the past three years, we've made over a thousand units of these incredible Italian horsehide trainers. The feedback has been tremendous, and they are some of the finest and most remarkable products that we've ever made.

Hailing from Comipel in Italy, this phenomenal front quarter horsehide starts out as a naked, undyed skin, and takes on its own unique patina and tone with wear. No two units will be the same - and you can personally control the character that develops. We have secured enough leather to produce another 200 units. Until Sunday May 13th, you can preorder one of five shapes in any size that we offer. The trainers will be delivered in September 2018 (approximately). You put down a deposit now, and pay the balance once the sneakers land in the USA and are ready to ship out.

To show a bit of the process, here's a comparison shot of brand new Hermosa Highs vs. the same pair after a week in the sun. The leather turns a dark caramel tone over time.
