The Ecton is sweet too
.
Yes, indeed. But I still prefer the Dovahz.
UNIFORM LA CHILLICOTHE WORK JACKET Drop, going on right now.
Uniform LA's Chillicothe Work Jacket is an elevated take on the classic Detroit Work Jacket. Made of ultra-premium 14-ounce Japanese canvas, it has been meticulously washed and hand distressed to replicate vintage workwear that’s been worn for years, and available in three colors.
This just dropped today. If you missed out on the preorder, there are some sizes left, but they won't be around for long. Check out the remaining stock here
Good luck!.

They sure are.
btw aportnoy, your picture of the EG Welland way waaaay back in this thread is the reason I bought my pair
Whats the difference between dover and ecton…I can only spot less eyelets on ecton rest looks almost same.

Yes, double-soled with the Dover leather heel piece, but three as opposed to 5 eyelets. An RLPL special order, I guess.
Always good to see you back on this thread. Not today but here's a pic of the last time I wore my Dovers:Thanks! Glad I could inspire!
lol of course the halifax has 4 eyelets!
Its definitely more Dover like, I agree.
He's back!
Interesting - I thought this pair that I picked up last year were Dover boots but they seem to be some kind of Dover/Ecton hybrid based on the above posts: three eyelets, double-soled, and the extra leather along the rear quarters:
