Yes. When I get back from work, falling asleep is the biggest obstacle between me and the next day of work. It must be horrible for those who sustain their miserable life by being miserable.

I curse my wife's much better than average paycheck...mine I could go get somewhere else, her's would be near impossible to reproduce.

Definitely enjoy my job. Not something I love doing per-se, but it's in an industry I love and you can't beat making your own hours, working from home, having 95% autonomy in your job, etc. This is the closest thing to being self-employed without actually being self-employed.

I spent a few years racing cars for a living. After a while, it felt a lot like a job, so I went back to management consulting. The pay was about the same, so it was really a choice about whether I wanted to travel every week or every weekend.
