There is something about corduroy material that makes me want to bite my teeth. It's like the same feeling some get when someone scratches the chalk board. I can't explain it much but I'm sure some of you can relate. Besides that it's been years I have not worn a pair of corduroy pants.

What are your thoughts?

It's obviously popular. I got a product email recently from the Todd Snyder brand saying it was their best-selling pant. For most guys I've talked to, corduroy always seems like a better idea (when you're buying it) than it actually turns out to be. In other words, a lot of guys want to like it, but don't feel like themselves when wearing it.

I used to wear corduroy pants back when I was a teenager. Always wore a brown pair. I don't remember when I had a fallout with the style.

I have three corduroy trousers, one with pleats and two without them. They are getting the most wear out of my trousers at the moment and I couldn't be happier. They are really comfortable and look good.

I used to wear old man cord pants for skateboarding when I was younger, couldn't really see myself doing it now. Also a plain velvet blazer > cord one.
