i ordered a pair, but they might go straight back to RL if they are not cordovan

You said it. My first TWO pairs of cordovan shoes. I'm amazed with them. My only two cops from the RL sale - only because I couldn't find anything else I really wanted - but I feel like I totally scored. Seems ridiculous given the $ spent, even on sale... but well worth it.

Agreed. If my high school girlfriend had smelled and looked like my Lindricks I wouldn't have dumped her after knocking her up.

^ spoke with a RL cs rep and he said RL doesn't have any new orders of the penny or tassel coming in. If you want either, in your size, call your local rl store. I think I might hit up my local rl and buy up their stock.

On a related note, the ones I ordered last week at the $400 price have shipped but tracking shows they've been sitting in Kernersville NC since Monday with a scheduled delivery date of tomorrow. I hate fedex home delivery.

I called and was told they were "taken out of inventory" due to them being damaged (tongue stitch, I assume but didn't ask). I told them I'd buy them damaged and the SA said he couldn't if he wanted to.
Company policy, blah blah blah. He said he couldn't ring them up. I'm curious as to why that's the case but I didn't press the issue.

No problem, sir. I'm glad you were able to grab yourself a pair. Yeah I appreciate the Horween stamp because I don't get it very often. I've owned about 50 pairs of shell shoes and got the stamp only a handful of times. Like pebblegrain mentioned unlined loafer feature the stamp more regularly. We're your loafers unlined? The stamp is much more common on unlined loafers. In either case, it sounds like you are set I the loafer dept

you should try calling them, on my Lindrick order I never received any info from them via email. when I called they gave me tracking info, etc, and did receive the shoes
