I really, really doubt it. Walgreens is a huge corporation with tens of thousands of locations. They wouldn't sell fakes.

More likely, the person who typed up the product page didn't know jack **** about Creed and just typed some stuff in. Like how they list "Original Vetiver" as "Vetiver".

Regardless, my order shipped today, so I'll post here once I get the goods.

I wonder if their eCommerce person is like "WTF are all these Creed orders coming in all of a sudden?"

Are the bottles/boxes dated? If not, how can you tell if the unopened box of cologne is fresh or stale?

+1

By the way, just ordered the Millesime Imperial from Fragrancenet (with 15% coupon posted on website) and will report on quality....any tips on it?

It comes in eau de toilette as well. If you search the net, you will find reviews of both products.

Through 11/20 code "PERFUME" at Walgreen's gives an additional 20% off. Just tried it and it really works.

Does cologne really have that short of a shelf life? I know that a bottle will last me like a year. I have definitely pulled out bottles that have been sitting around for years and they still smell fine to me. Of course, I don't have a trained nose when it comes to these things. I just don't think it "goes bad" enough to really matter. Does it?

Thank you ... that's good to know. It's a very short sidetrack while doing my Christmas shopping.

I do hope this will not be a needless sidetrack.

I'll call first.

Any thoughts on ordering the Original Vetiver in Milliseme from either FragranceX.com or the Perfume Spot? Looks legit and there's a 10% coupon for both (Perfume Spot is a bit cheaper), but no experience with them. Plus I want the Milliseme over the EDT at Walgreens.
