You know the tag you get with clarks on the shoelaces. Are you supposed to keep them on the shoelaces or take them off.
I saw someone with clarks desert boots on today in the sand suede and he had the tag on the shoelaces, where i have taken mine off the wallabees ive just bought.

I just got my brown suede Clarks Desert boots today from Piperlime. I picked up this Synovia spray from Nordstoms to protect them. Will it be sufficient to protect them?

XD is a face, he's laughing at the idea of someone leaving the tag on because leaving the tag is on is like walking around with big D&G glasses on with a sign on your back that says "I'M A DOLT."

I've had them a bit more than a month, and they're separating on one toe, on both outer-front and on both inner-back. I'm going to take them in and see if I can get a nice looking rubber sole glued on in lieu of the crepe.

Keep us posted. I'd like to put better soles, ideally Vibram, on mine as well.

Picked up mine in beeswax yesterday eve, size 11 (beeswax), lengthwise they are great despite everyone saying size down, and they are loose around the ankle, which I believe is normal, because that's one thing that differentiates them between even older styled chukka boots (ie Alden). They wear quickly, very quickly, but they are certainly are comfortable.

Yeah that's the separating I'm talking about. I don't know if I want rubber soles on the boots though. I kind of like how the crepe sole shows wear to compliment the wear on the uppers.
