I went with a slim shirt. 15.5 x 33. I was a little nervous after I ordered because I was reading that people had to order up a size on arms. Got it and the fit was true to the measurements. Decent quality. I prefer my old banana republic no irons to the business casua shirt I ordered, but the 33 price can’t be beat.

I’m not a sadist so not even going to ask for input on for haha

I wear CT shirts almost exclusively for business casual days. You can DEFINITELY overwash them. That's what causes the arm shrinkage in my experience.

I experienced shrinking too on some extra slim fit non-iron BD, I guess low price means low consistency, otherwise it's good stuff.
And I removed the useless button for adjusting cuff, since it's useless and I hate that

My sleeves definitely got shorter after a few washes. I can't really wear them with a jacket now and usually roll them up.

Has anyone tried the CT "natural cool" shirts? They are 100% cotton so I assume just a lighter weight fabric.

I just bought a white CT natural cool shirt. They are really comfortable and light compared to the poplin or twill shirt, but it is slightly more see through.

Have you noticed that their regular quality shirts now all cost $120 with some 20% discount if bought 4 at once ..

The SALE section has no more one of those regular plain or stripe formal shirts at all .. I guess they have changed the price policy significantly ..

I remember buying shirts for $39 in their SALE section which were pure classics, those are now moved to their regular $120 department ..

The quality is there, but no way it's worth that much..

You just have to be patient and wait for sales. They will mail discount codes from time to time to prior customers. I know I got two between August and November of last year. It was 3 for $100, which is as good a value as you'll find for dress shirts, even if they do shrink after washing. It wasn't every shirt on the site, but it was a very, very good selection, including staple blue/white plain and striped shirts.

@SS 376 Thanks man! How's your experience regarding their sizes (shrinkage percentage)?

I remember following their advice and measuring my neck with a tailor tape and it turned out I was a 16/41 .. However, the collar gap from my neck to the collar was pretty massive, even when I put the tie on .. So I ordered the 15.5 size .. I can still see more gap than I like .. I always dry clean my shirts (Don't have the time to hand wash and iron them myself) .. I now believe that ideally, out of box the size 15 would be just right/without any gap to my neck, but if that thing shrinks I wouldn't be able to close the first neck button, lol ..

Wearing these casually in 15.5 or even 16 doesn't bother me, since they look alright, but I hate to see the extra room when I put on a tie!

Sure thing. I feel like shrinkage cost me about half a collar size. I've been a 16 collar my whole adult life, but after several washes I couldn't button the top button anymore (as in it wouldn't even come close to buttoning), so I sized up to a 16 1/2 going forward, since sometimes I have to launder my shirts rather than dry cleaning them. The 16 1/2 is slightly loose, and the newer 16 collar shirts still fit, which lead me to conclude it's shrinkage and not simply my neck getting fatter. Sleeve-wise, it's hard to say how much shrinkage affects it. I am somewhere in between 34 and 35 sleeve, but where I really noticed the shrinking is in the neck. I'm in a business formal workplace, but if your office is business casual, it's probably a nonfactor.

Having trouble finding a pair of relatively affordable, highish quality stone-colored chinos, got it narrowed down to Brooks Brothers Red Fleece or Charles Tyrwhitt. Anyone have any experience with their chinos, particularly as to quality and sizing?
