Along the lines of that, who likes ketchup in their Mac & Cheese?

At the risk of sounding azn I'll admit to sriracha.

I really enjoy his show. I don't really mind him that much. I just like to see how other cultures eat.

+1, even better.

Though I like the tanginess that Tabasco + Ketchup adds to mac and cheese that hot cock sauce lacks.

oooh, good one too. I like sriracha for the delicate numbness on the tongue that it adds to asian cuisine.

If cooked well (read: long, slow cooking, pot roast style), I really enjoy bear. One of my college friends hunts bear every season, and it's a really nice change of pace meat; a little tougher that beef, but I think the flavor is a little bit stronger. Mixed up with some slow-roasted potatoes and good seasoning, it's a great comfort food meal.

Bear? That's badass. I wonder where I could get some.

Durian sounds interesting....is that ever available in asian markets?

Spring bear, I hope (as opposed to an autumn bear). At least I think that's right.....

I tried durian when I was in Hawaii, the fresh variety not the frozen.

It tasted like very ripe onion/garlic with the consistency of thick mashed potato. I did not enjoy that.

Recently I had snapping turtle soup. That was quite strange.

Bear is awesome. In my American Regional cuisine class, we kept learning that traditional foods had bear. We begged Chef to find some way to get us bear. He brought some in the second to last day. We made Bear Burgundy, which is a braise. It was incredible.

My dad brought my brother to college in the Pacific Northwest and stayed for a while with his friend who retired in the boonies. They called me up one day to say they had just shot a bear and were going to eat it. I was so, so, so jealous.

I could chow on some bear... not to confuse with a bear claw.

I never really considered most game food "bizarre." I've eaten my share of bear, moose, venison, game fish, game fowls, and rabbit.
