congrats I recently picked up the chocolate daltons!
http://www.thestyleblogger.com/6153/1-piece5-ways-allen-edmonds-wingtip-brogue-boots/Hey All,
I'm requesting some pics of both the walnut and chocolate daltons in the wild as I'm deciding between the 2. I've always wanted a pair of Chocolates, but I've been hesitant because I already have a pair of dark brown boots. Naturally, the walnut Daltons would be the logical choice for diversity's sake, but the chocolate seems much more versatile (don't think I can wear walnut daltons with dress trousers/ nicer chinos) and classic (who knows how the color walnut will fare in 5 years). Your pics and opinions are greatly appreciated.

Very nice boot collection there. Wearing my walnut shell Daltons today. Congrats on the 5th Street purchase(s) - how do you find they fit compared to the Daltons? From left to right, Chocolate Brown (Dalton), Brown Burnish (5th Street), Walnut Cordovan (Dalton), Walnut (Dalton).
The chocolate are actually very dark; almost black. I have treated them with the AE dark brown polish and brown Kiwi wax. You may even be able to get them to darken up further if you use darker shoe polish.
The brown 5th Streets are in the pic for perspective and because the SA made a hat trick of the 5th Street doable last Friday... pics of the black shell and burgundy shell 5ths coming when they get here.
A few of you have noted interest in the Parkways on the past few pages, so here is some SPAM
For those of us that have Daltons, are they a bit loose in the heel when you first get them? I got an 11B because the Bayfield (same last) fit very well in that size, as does the Strand, but I felt that my heel was a bit loose in the Dalton. Is this typical or do I just need to break them in?

Mine (in calf) fit more loosely in the heel than Bayfield.
