ok so i did research and am waist 31/32

unfortunately i dont know where to try on 5EP or KMW's so i'm relying on what i have read.

I'm not a fan of skinny jeans, but i like straight and bootcut and have athletic thighs.

stating that does this sound right?

5EP LDB in Rigid 31 or 5EP Straight Down in resin 32

difference between two jeans?

for KMW I was thinking KMW 1980 with a 32 inch waist?

Should i go 1950?

thanks for your time

Word. I think that Mauro could get you any of the 5EP cuts faster than any other retailer at this point. Seriously. The 5EP LDBs would be a good cut for the OP, I think. IMO, a better jean than the KMW, at a better price, but the KMWs are very nice as well. I have both, and do think that the hardware and denim on the 5EPs is considerably nicer.

If you like bootcut, you won't like the 1980 or 1950. I tried both and didn't like the taper. As a reference, I own LDB in both resin and dark worn, and they work well for me. I'm going to pull the trigger on a pair of KMW 2010's very soon and see how they work. You do have good taste in jeans though. They're two of the best brands on the market, but I agree with LA Guy in that 5EP has a slight edge. The KMW are detailed better on the inside, but that's insignificant IMO.
