    It's almost here!

GSU wins 7 games. Bama doesn't win it all.

    Your mom still sucks.

Subscribed. Go 'Cats! At least 6-6 and a bowl win would be nice.

Word on the street is that the University of Washington Huskies have a team to be reckoned with, so to speak.

It's just that I dread having another coaching change.

SEC football looking great today. Tennessee almost losing to an FCS school, and SC struggling vs Vandy(I know vandy is SEC, but SC is supposed to be on a much higher tier)

^ And it took Tennessee recovering its own fumble in the end zone to win in OT. They still might have won, but scoring 7 instead of 0 on a fortunate bounce helps.

South Carolina always opens up the first game of the season rough. Also, we are in a rebuilding year.

Since when are Vanderbuilt and South Carolina regarded onthe same level in college football?

Vandy has had 3 winning seasons in the past 20 years.
They went 3-9 and 4-8 the past two seasons.

    SC
    2010 9-5
    2011 11-2
    2012 11-2
    2013 11-2
    2014 7-6
    2015 3-9

5 winning seasons I the past 6 years. More than Vandy in 20

Looks a hell of a lot better to me

lol. SC is historically one of the worst p5 teams ever.

If it weren't for Spurrier they would have the same winning % as Vandy, they have a worse bowl record, hell even Vandy can lay claim to a couple (pre-WW2) national championships.

SC is maybe a step or two above Vandy based on very recent performance but they are in no way substantially better.

It makes me vomit in my mouth a little to type this, but Ed's right. The data are skewed because USC has been relatively not terrible recently under Spurrier, but, as a program, they're not "a hell of a lot better" than Vandy.

Well, the University of Southern California just suffered the third worst loss in its illustrious history, losing 52-6 to Alabama. The two worst were Notre Dame 1966 (51-0) and Michigan 1947 (49-0). I blame most of it on that miserable wretch Pat Haden (until recently USC's Athletic Director) for not having hired a marquee-level coach after firing Steven Sarkisian. Coach Helton has now lost four of his last five games. Need I say more?
