Can't decide between the Kaptain Sunshine Melton Traveller or the Eidos Herringbone Raglan coat for casual wear with sweaters and denim. Anyone know if these are both of relatively similar weight?

The KS melton coat is significantly heavier and stiffer than the Eidos raglan coat. Thinks of the weight and rigidity of the KS coat as a long melton peacoat. The Eidos is unlined and a softer/lighter overcoating fabric.

Thanks @gdl203 ! Based on this I think the Eidos might be a bit easier or natural to wear casually over a sweater or some layering. Appreciate the help.

Go figure...the boots I bought a couple weeks ago now on sale for $250 off.

The eternal gamble - buy higher, and have for longer, or wait for the sales but risk missing out

(though a Black Friday-timed sale is hardly appearing out of nowhere)

That is simply not possible, unless you did not use SF10 when you bought your pair. If that's the case, send us an email and we'll adjust for the SF10 discount you may have missed.

I did use the SF10 promo code, unfortunately for me the recent markdown is still much cheaper. I'm a bit new to this and I guess I didn't expect new season shoes to go on sale so quickly.

While it sucks what you bought is now on sale, as somebody mentioned earlier, it's a gamble. There was something I wanted and while I knew the sale was coming I bought it at full price anyway because I didn't want to run the risk of it selling out before I could grab it.

One of my sale purchases:

I took a quick pic so I could assess whether I liked it. Any suggestions for pocket squares for this outfit?

I'll post some proper pics when I wear the outfit to work.
