Mrs. CWI's favorite S/S item in my entire closet is a white seersucker PF popover. Was too slow on the navy gauzy seersucker :(

@hpreston How would you describe the weight of the fabric on that Valstar field jacket? What sort of temperature range do you imagine you could be wearing it in?

It's a medium weight linen/cotton blend. For me, I would wear it as overskirt/jacket up to maybe mid to upper 80s (anything over those temps and I don't wear more than one layer, unless required by work)

Its also unlined except for the sleeves (nice touch) so should wear pretty cool. The pocket config is also great, flaps up top (with phone pocket inside) and flap/buttons on hip pockets.

I am hoping the Norwegian Rain wearers out there can answer a question— how does your jacket hold up when you are out in the rain for an extended period of time? I ask because it is a long held dream of mine to own a piece but the technical stats (WATER COLUMN: 15-20000 MM; BREATHABILITY: 15-20000 G/M2/24HR) are not as good as other jackets out there (e.g., 20,000mm Waterproof+ 45,000gr/sm Breathable), though admittedly they are not as good looking. I just want to have confidence it will get the job done. Thanks!

Post a fit pic if you can - really thinking about it but too many field jackets!

Tried on to snap a couple pics. Excuse terrible photo quality and green on green (pretty sure I wouldn’t wear the FJ with these pants, but they are what I wore today)

I find that the Norwegian Rain fabric is totally waterproof when it comes to rainy conditions. My jacket has shoulder stitching details that let rain in eventually, but that’s like after an hour in full rain. And I think my jacket is the only model like it (the cph jacket), so other models wouldn’t have that problem.
