from a context/formality standpoint, can the LBM basket weave Navy overcoat be worn casually (with lite Knit/OCBD) or it is primarily a suit/SC piece of garment? really that slim it is recommended to size up? Length wise, is it above or below the knee? I can't tell if it has functional sleeves...Thanks

I wear it casually as much as I wear it with a suit/SC. Just at to above the knee. II sized up. Sleeves are not functional.

EDIT: I think it's more above the knee than I'm thinking of, it's still packed away since the spring so my memory is a bit hazy.

Just got done processing a bunch of returns and wanted to give you guys a heads-up since there were some pretty in-demand items that came back. Formosa sport coat in Draper's hopsack in 50R, a number of Rota trousers in various sizes, Eidos field jacket in 48 :D Inis Meain bull wool in green in a few sizes... you get the picture

What a great shot.

I drive by a "Formosa Buffet" daily, and after this thread I just imagine running in to find everyone gorging on amazing suits...so essentially like the NMWA new arrivals page.

Not sure I fully understand all of this, but thanks!!

Interesting fact: The island of Taiwan used to be known as Formosa.

Makes more sense than numerous Thai restaurants being really big fans of Neapolitan suits.

:D
